About Us
Showing the people in your life how much you care about them can be tough.
We wanted to find a way to let them know how important, special, cared for, or celebrated they are in a way that wasn’t over the top or felt like it was too intense.
What we needed was a little something that really connected with them.
The only question was what?
Oh, and how, and where, and when?
As foodies, the answers to those questions were pretty straight-forward.
We would put together curated gift boxes that showcase the work of fantastic artisan and boutique producers in Australia’s regional communities, and that make the recipient feel special.
Sometimes actions really do speak louder than words.
There are times when words just don’t feel enough or the person at the other end isn’t in the right space.
But the thing about Australians is that we care for each other, and not being able to find the right words has never stopped us getting our message across.
We find other ways.
We give them a little something and they know we care.
Even before social distancing became a thing, emotional isolation was on the rise. With the onset of social distancing more people felt more disconnected. We had to use technology to share this amazing produce with as many people as possible!
But here’s where it got really interesting. We set ourselves another challenge.
What if in addition to the produce coming from regional Australia, it ONLY came from regions impacted by bush fires?
Challenge accepted.
These are businesses and communities who rely on travel, tourism, day trippers and farmers markets at the busy times of the year to give them a boost.
The last few years haven’t been kind to the regions. If natural disasters slowed trade, then social distancing really put on the brakes.
This is where we are different.
By sending your friends, family, colleagues or clients A Little Something, you can make a difference to the person receiving your gift as well as knowing that you are also doing A Little Something to support Australian owned and operated small businesses in regional areas.
Enough little somethings can add up to a lot.
