Our Producers
At the core of why we give gifts to people is an important purpose – appreciation.
We give and send gifts to people to show them we appreciate the role they play in our lives and how much we care.
But gifts don’t express appreciation or care.
People do.
The artisan producers who make the items selected to go into A Little Something gift boxes genuinely care.
They care about the quality of what they make.
They are passionate about the ingredients and processes and the outcomes.
They care about the people who are going to take their product, sit down, and enjoy it and hopefully appreciate the time, effort, care and attention that has gone into producing food and drink of the highest quality.
The people who have made this food come from across a large geographic area – from the Alpine, High Country and Gippsland regions Victoria to beautiful Sapphire Coast, Shoalhaven region, Southern Highlands and bushland foothills of Sydney in New South Wales.
These producers are all from small scale family businesses, deeply connected to their communities.
It is this connection and these communities that drew us to them as suppliers for our gift boxes.
There is no denying the regions in Australia have done it tough in recent times. The impact that bush fires have in Australia is long-lasting and deeply felt.
Downturn in trade at the busiest times of the year impacts whole communities, not just a business. These businesses employ people from local towns and regions, and their success makes their communities stronger.
Doing A Little Something to show you appreciate the people in your life can also mean doing A Little Something to show you appreciate these passionate professionals and their communities.
